Operation Ice Storm

Operation Ice Storm is the latest campaign by the Captain Paul Watson Foundation UK to confront Iceland’s ongoing slaughter of endangered fin whales. While our presence in Iceland dates back several years with past campaigns like Operation Mjölnir, Operation Northern Exposure, and Operation Paiakan, Ice Storm marks a renewed effort in 2024 to monitor, document, and expose this cruel industry.

Through both direct observation and covert operations, our team aims to hold whalers accountable, apply international pressure, and support the growing movement within Iceland calling for an end to commercial whaling — for good.
